Pune : As part of the Ministry of External Affairs\u2019 ongoing initiative to expedite passport issuance, a special Tatkaal Passport Drive is being organized at the Passport Seva Kendra (PSK), Pune on Saturday, 19th July 2025. The initiative aims to provide early appointments under the Tatkaal scheme for eligible citizens.<\/p>\n
However, officials have urged applicants to thoroughly understand the eligibility criteria and mandatory documentation under the Tatkaal scheme. A large number of applicants are reportedly rejected due to incomplete documents or ineligibility, leading to inconvenience and delay.<\/p>\n
\u2705 Mandatory Documents for Tatkaal Appointments:<\/p>\n
Applicants must carry originals of the following documents for verification by Passport Authority and Police:<\/p>\n
1. QR Code Birth Certificate with Aadhaar number<\/p>\n
2. Class 10th (Matriculation) Passing Certificate<\/p>\n
3. Existing Passport (if any)<\/p>\n
4. Latest eAadhaar with scannable QR code<\/p>\n
5. PAN Card with hologram<\/p>\n
6. Voter ID with hologram sticker<\/p>\n
7. Driving Licence<\/p>\n
8. Marriage Certificate \/ Annexure J (for married applicants)<\/p>\n
9. For Minors:<\/p>\n
Duly filled Annexure D (parents\u2019 consent form)<\/p>\n
Passports of both parents<\/p>\n
