Pune Division conducts Surprise Anti-Hawker Drive at Pune Station – 51 Unauthorized Vendors Prosecuted

Pune . Under the guidance of Divisional Railway Manager Shri Rajesh Kumar Verma Pune Division conducted a drive to curb the menace of unauthorized vending at Pune Station. Pune Division ticket checking staff along with commercial inspectors, which were supervised by Assistant Commercial Manager (cog) Shri Shantanu Atre, apprehended 51 unauthorized hawkers and handed them over to the Railway Protection Force (RPF) for prosecution. This drive was conducted under the leadership of Shri Anil Kumar Pathak, Sr. Divisional Commercial Manager.

Such surprise inspections are being intensified to ensure strict action against unauthorized vendors who not only create inconvenience to passengers but also compromise safety and cleanliness at railway premises.
