Mumbai.Priyamvada Kant, a talented and versatile actress known for her captivating performances in numerous hit TV shows and OTT platforms, has won two prestigious OTT Rising Star Awards in a single month, solidifying her position as a truly iconic figure in the Indian entertainment industry.
She was first honoured with the Adgully’s Women Disruptors OTT Rising Star Award, which celebrates trailblazing women in digital entertainment. Shortly after, she received the Times Applaud OTT Rising Star Award, presented to her by acclaimed actress Divya Dutta, adding even more prestige to this back-to-back recognition.
These accolades recognize exceptional talent and rising impact in the OTT space. Winning two awards in one month highlights Priyamvada’s growing influence, her powerful screen presence, and the resonance her work has with both audiences and critics.
Priyamvada Kant is a seasoned actress with over a decade of experience in the entertainment industry. She made her acting debut as Kaumudi in the popular TV show “Bairi Piya” in 2010 and has since become a household name with her impressive performances in shows like “Tenali Rama,” “Kullfi Kumarr Bajewala,” “Santoshi Maa,” “Tera Mera Saath Rahe,” “Naagin,” “Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai,” and the Cineplay Peechha Karti Parchhaiyaa as Reena for ZEE5 with stalwarts Ila Arun and KK Raina. She rose to fame after winning MTV Splitsvilla 12, and her fan base has only grown stronger since then.
Currently, Priyamvada is seen as the lead character Sharda in “Tenali Rama.” She has done “Chaahatein,” a ZEE5 mini-series, “Kill Dil,” a heartbreak series streaming on Amazon MX Player, and “Bada Naam Karenge,” a Sony LIV show produced by Rajshri Productions.
