Pune.BSL-3 and BSL-2 Laboratory, National Reference Vaccine Testing Quality Control Laboratory and Super Specialty Veterinary Hospital, Aundh under Rashtriya Krishi Vikas Yojana will be inaugurated by Hon’ble Deputy Chief Minister and Guardian Minister of Pune Shri. Ajit Pawar on 24th May 2025 at 4.45 pm.
The Chief Guest for this inauguration ceremony will be Hon’ble Union Minister of State for Civil Aviation, Transport, Cooperation Shri. Murlidhar Mohol along with Ministers, Higher & Technical Education, Parliamentary Affairs Hon. Shri Chandrakant Patil, Hon’ble Minister,

“Establishment of National Level Reference Vaccine Testing & Quality Laboratory by adopting Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) at Institute of Veterinary Biological Product under Rashtriya Krishi Vikas Yojana:
Institute of Veterinary Biological Product, Aundh, Pune-7 is the only State Level Institute under Animal Husbandry Department of the Government of India engaged in manufacturing preventive vaccines for domestic animals and birds.
National Level Reference Vaccine Testing & Quality Laboratory has been established at Veterinary Biomaterial Manufacturing Institute by adopting Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) under Rashtriya Krishi Vikas Yojana.
The main objective of the project is to maintain the quality of vaccine production. National Reference Testing Laboratory for Veterinary Vaccines and similar products has been established.
Completion of this project will provide high quality vaccines manufactured using standard methods to livestock farmers for protection against various infectious and life-threatening diseases.
